State Stats: The state reports 27,660 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 1,802
deaths and 17,303 presumed recovered. There are 1,629 hospitalized cases
with 244 on vents.
North Oaks Stats: We have 23 COVID-19 positive cases, and 1 PUI, with four
patients on vents. There were 0 discharges and 0 deaths yesterday.
Employee Wellness reports 13 employees are home monitoring, with four being
cleared to return to work yesterday.
Population health reports only 43 calls to the COVID-19 line (985-230-2778)
and six video visits. The drive through testing station did 50 tests yesterday,
and is closed today. Results are pending for 72 tests.
We had a slight uptick in surgeries today with 13 total, 11 of which were
outpatient. Six are scheduled for tomorrow.
Supplies are sufficient.
Staffing is good.
Kanna reports that clinic volume is rising slightly. Some providers are
still are completing training on myChart telemedicine this week. Communications
will be working on PR to educate the community on steps we are taking
to keep people safe when they need to come to North Oaks to receive care,
as this seems to be a concern as restrictions and relaxed.
