North Oaks Health System Purchases North Oaks Pediatric Clinics

North Oaks Health System officials completed the purchase this month of North Oaks Pediatric Clinics, a trusted healthcare provider for children and adolescents serving the Northshore for over four decades.

“North Oaks Pediatric Clinic and North Oaks Health System have proudly collaborated for 46 years, demonstrating a deep-rooted, shared commitment to the health and wellbeing of Northshore children and families,” affirms Pediatrician Elizabeth H. Fritz, MD. “This move solidifies North Oaks Pediatric Clinic's long-standing relationship with North Oaks Health System, the leading healthcare provider in our community.”

Another enhancement made possible by the procurement is the implementation of North Oaks myCHART. Powered by Epic – the leader in electronic health record technology – North Oaks myCHART streamlines patient information to make it easier for North Oaks Pediatric Clinic providers to coordinate care, track medical history and provide comprehensive treatment for patients. Parents of patients will benefit from online access to their children's medical records with enhanced features like the ability to schedule and manage appointments, communicate with providers, access test results and request prescription refills.

Employees of the practice will keep their jobs and move to employment with North Oaks Health System. North Oaks Pediatric Clinics are located in Hammond: 42440 Pelican Professional Park, 15695 Professional Park (North Clinic) and 15756 Medical Arts Plaza (Main Clinic). Clinic hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Saturday appointments are available for emergencies only.
