Niagara Bottling, LLC generously donated $10,000 to the North Oaks Foundation on Wednesday, Nov. 6, directly helping patients and nurses in the fight against cancer.
The check presentation was held during the company’s Pink Out Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The funds will purchase iPads to entertain cancer infusion patients while they receive treatment and support continuing education certifications for oncology nurses.
“We are extremely grateful to Niagara Bottling for this generous gift to our cancer program,” North Oaks Volunteer Services/Foundation Director Staci Arceneaux says. “Their company fosters a culture of giving back to the communities they serve, and they are truly making an impact here in Tangipahoa. We look forward to a lasting relationship with them.”
Niagara Bottling, LLC has been family-owned and operated since 1963. Headquartered in Diamond Bar, Calif., Niagara operates bottling facilities throughout the U.S. and Mexico. The donating facility is located in Ponchatoula.
The North Oaks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2015 to support North Oaks Health System. The Foundation provides funding for programs and equipment purchases that the hospital may not otherwise be able to fund through its operations.
