Nurse Practitioner Hannah Bass Joins Northshore Urological Associates

Nurse Practitioner Hannah Bass, FNP-C, has joined Northshore Urological Associates.

Bass and the rest of the Northshore Urological Associates team specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions affecting the male and female urinary tract, and male reproductive system.

Enthusiastic about offering preventative medicine, health education and medical management for chronic medical conditions, Bass explains, “I believe it’s important to ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible during vulnerable times, receive thorough health education about their diagnosis and treatment options, understand their health plan and goals, as well as have access to an open line of communication.”

Bass comes to Northshore Urological Associates with seven years of nursing experience gained as a certified critical care nurse working at hospitals across the Greater New Orleans area and Baton Rouge. Professionally, she belongs to the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

Bass earned a master’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Nurse practitioners are nationally certified, state-licensed medical professionals who can practice independently. Bass is certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

Northshore Urological Associates is a clinic of North Oaks Health System and has locations in Hammond and Livingston.

The Hammond clinic is in Suite 204 of North Oaks Office Plaza at 15770 Paul Vega, MD, Drive. The Livingston clinic is in Suite 210 of North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex at 17199 Spring Ranch Road in Livingston.

Clinic hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays.
