Senior Accountant Jordan Honored as Employee of the Month

Senior Accountant Jordan has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for May 2023.

A former senior tax accountant, Jordan decided to make a career shift in 2021 and joined the North Oaks Finance Department team as Senior Accountant. Coming from a family of accountants, including her parents, brother, aunts, brother-in-law and grandfather, Jordan enjoys how her job empowers her to interact with and help coworkers across the health system like Postoperative Director Tyler Brignac, who nominated her for Employee of the Month recognition.

“The best part of my job is the people,” shares Jordan.

“North Oaks provides a work environment supportive of employee success. The opportunities here are countless,” she continues.

Covington is home to Jordan and her husband Paul with whom she enjoys outdoor activities – especially fishing and hunting.

Jordan earned bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Health Administration through Louisiana State University in Shreveport.

Other pastimes include, cooking, baking and gardening. She shares that growing her own vegetables has led her to learn canning and other food preservation techniques. She also belongs to a women’s soccer league and can be found on the pitch during the spring and fall seasons.
