Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Laramie Honored as Employee of the Month

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Laramie has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for July 2023.

In 2013, Laramie joined the North Oaks team as a Patient Transporter. From there, he worked as a Radiologic Technologist in X-ray and CT scan before becoming a Cath Lab Technologist in 2017.

“The thousands of patients’ hearts I’ve been able to help fix is so rewarding,” Laramie shares. “I try to make every patient laugh or smile. Laughter can be the best medicine.”

Laramie attended Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit and Louisiana State University in Shreveport before earning a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southeastern Louisiana University. He went on to graduate from North Oaks School of Radiologic Technology as a Radiologic Technologist.

Hammond is home to Laramie and his wife Elise.

As pastimes, Laramie values time with his family and dogs, Dixie and Annie.
