Practice Manager I Kimberly Cramer Honored as Leader of the Quarter Award

Practice Manager I Kimberly Cramer has received North Oaks Health System's Leader of the Quarter Award for January-March 2023.

In 2007, Kimberly joined the North Oaks team as a Patient Care Tech in the Emergency Department. After becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she transferred to Urgent Care and helped open North Oaks Neurology Clinic in 2010. After a brief hiatus in 2012, she returned to North Oaks in 2017 as the Neurosurgery Clinic’s LPN. In 2021, she was promoted to Practice Manager I for the Pain Management and Neurosurgery Clinics.

Kimberly earned a Practical Nursing degree from River Parish Vocational School in Reserve. She explains that caring for others comes naturally.

“Giving of your time to others can be mutually uplifting. It’s my calling from God. When I was 12, I saved my cousin from drowning. It was the first time I performed CPR. I had no clue what I was doing, but it worked. At 15, I spent the summer caring for my brother after a motor vehicle crash left him bedbound for a short time. As my grandparents got older, I made myself available to help them any way I could.”

Prior to becoming an LPN, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter I and Tire Repair Technician.

Kimberly makes her home in Albany with her husband Scott, 14-year-old son Remy and 9-year-old daughter Carly. She gives back to her community through involvement in the Albany Youth Association. She has served as vice president of the recreational league for seven years.

As pastimes, Kimberly enjoys concerts, sporting events, scrapbooking and arts and crafts.

“When it comes to ensuring patients receive needed services, Kim exceeds expectations," asserts Vice President of Orthopedic/Neurosciences Service Lines Reagan Johnson. "She is always among the first to step up when she believes her skillset can benefit others. She personifies our mission to improve lives, and we are grateful for the difference she makes every day for our patients, providers and staff.”
