Practice Manager III Hayley Honored as Leader of the Quarter

Practice Manager III Hayley has received North Oaks Health System's Leader of the Quarter Award for July-September 2022.

In 2008, Hayley joined the North Oaks team as supervisor of North Oaks Family Medicine in Hammond and Independence. In 2021, Hayley accepted her current position of Practice Manager III for Northshore Internal Medicine Associates and North Oaks Infectious Disease Clinic. She also previously managed North Oaks Primary Care in Hammond and North Oaks Orthopedic Specialty Center in Hammond and Livingston

"I love having the opportunity every day to make a positive difference in someone's life," Hayley shares.

Dr. Charles Ducombs, a Northshore Internal Medicine Associates provider, shares, “Hayley is very humble. When I ask something routine of her, it’s done immediately. When I ask something of her that I know is difficult, she figures it out. She is honest, caring, thoughtful and dedicated to patient care.”

Fueling her passion to help others, Hayley earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Southeastern Louisiana University. This year, she graduated from Louisiana State University with a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. She also is certified as a Lean Six Sigma practitioner.

“There are many different qualities used to describe a good leader, like: motivated, honest, respectful, humble, accountable and caring. A great leader is one who possesses all the qualities of a good leader along with the ability to uplift and empower others,” explains Kimberly Cramer, a fellow Practice Manager. “Hayley is an example of a great leader.”

Hayley and her husband Gary live in Albany with their children – Garrett, 11, and Kathryn, 2. A favorite pastime for the family is deer hunting, fishing and relaxing at their camp in Liberty, Mississippi. In keeping with her love of marine mammals, Hayley volunteers her time helping to clean the tanks at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans.

“A 14-year veteran employee of North Oaks Health System, Hayley consistently strives to improve lives by ensuring that patients, providers and staff are set up for success," asserts Diana Barber, vice president of North Oaks' primary and medical service line. "She embraces challenges and never hesitates to jump in and share the workload when needed.”
