“I love working with students and the variety of my daily work,” Leslie shares. “Our interns come from all over the country and sometimes the world. It’s my job to ensure their internship is the best possible experience and that they feel welcome and at home here in Louisiana.”
Leslie graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and earned a master’s degree in Health Promotion from Southeastern Louisiana University. She also is board-certified in sports nutrition.
“I believe food is medicine, and teaching people how to eat properly empowers them to take control of their health,” Leslie explains. "Every meal is an opportunity to heal from within."
Leslie and her husband Jeremy live in Madisonville with their 4-year-old twin daughters Emme and Lucy.
Fitness plays an important role in Leslie’s lifestyle. “Any free time is spent at the gym,” she explains.
