Nurse Practitioner Hannah Fugarino Joins Northshore Urological Associates

Nurse Practitioner Hannah Fugarino, AG-ACNP-BC, has joined Northshore Urological Associates, which is a clinic of North Oaks Health System.
A Tangipahoa Parish native, Fugarino comes to North Oaks with five years of surgical nursing experience gained at hospitals located in the Greater New Orleans area and Fort Worth, Texas. She is no stranger to North Oaks Health System, having completed 600 hours of clinical rotations at North Oaks Medical Center while working toward her master’s degree in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Fugarino earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge.
Nurse Practitioners are nationally certified, state-licensed medical professionals who can practice independently.
They are known as “physician extenders” educated under the nursing model, which emphasizes health promotion and education. Nurse Practitioners are credentialed to manage the overall care of their patients, diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications and provide education to their patients on disease prevention and management.
Other Northshore Urological Associates providers include: Urologists Stephen M. Graham, M.D., and Brad M. Lake, M.D.; Physician Assistant Jessica Cole, PA-C; and fellow Nurse Practitioner Kimberly Marcel, APRN, FNP-C. The team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urinary tract disorders and the male reproductive system.
Northshore Urological Associates has locations in Hammond and Livingston.
The Hammond clinic is located in Suite 204 of North Oaks Office Plaza at 15770 Paul Vega, M.D., Drive. The Livingston clinic is located in Suite 210 of North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex at 17199 Spring Ranch Road in Livingston.
Clinic hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays.
