Office Supervisor Angie Honored as Employee of the Month

Nutritional Services Office Supervisor Angie has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for July 2020.

Angie joined the North Oaks Nutritional Services team as Office Supervisor in 1984 and hasn’t looked back. From assisting her coworkers to helping patients make food choices during their hospital stay, Angie shares that she loves the fast pace and variety her job offers.

“I love helping others,” shares Angie. 

This marks the second time that Angie has been named Employee of the Month for the health system. In fact, she was the first-ever recipient of the honor in 1987.

A graduate of Ponchatoula High School, she currently lives in Hammond with her husband David. They have two children – Scott, 30, and Lauren, 28.

Family trips to hike and snow ski and mission trips with Ponchatoula Baptist Church are among Angie’s favorite pastimes. She also enjoys quilting, walks and entertaining family and friends.

"Angie is a respected leader with an incredible work ethic and great sense of humor," affirms Nutritional Services Director Ann McDaniel-Hall. "She is all about teamwork and getting the job done. What a blessing her 36 years of service (and counting) have been to our team!”
