Emergency Services Unit Manager Mike Holliday Honored as Leader of the Quarter

Emergency Services Unit Manager Mike Holliday has received North Oaks Health System's Leader of the Quarter Award for October-December 2019.

Mike joined the ER team at North Oaks Medical Center in 2004 as a Registered Nurse. He advanced to Charge Nurse before becoming Manager in 2011.

"In the ER, we see patients at their most vulnerable. Having the opportunity to help them feel better and heal is the best," Mike shares.

Over the past 16 years, Mike shares that he has enjoyed supporting his team in the care of an average 80,000 ER patients annually on the hospital’s journey of becoming a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.

“Mike is an extremely hard-working leader," affirms Emergency Services Director Eric Neal. "He works with his team to improve patient satisfaction and maintain gains. His staff appreciates that he always makes himself available day or night and assists with direct patient care when needed. A member of his team recently told me that it’s easy to come to work and give 100% for someone like Mike, who shows you that you’re appreciated and supported.”
