Human Resources Information Systems Analyst Amanda Honored as Employee of the Month for October 2019

Human Resources Information Systems Analyst Amanda has received the North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for October 2019.
Amanda joined the North Oaks team in 2004 as a Staff Accountant. Before accepting her current role in 2018, she served in a variety of roles, including: Cost Analyst, Compliance Auditor, Compensation/ Benefits Analyst, Decision Support Analyst, Operations Support Analyst, Lead Application Engineer, Practice Supervisor, Practice Administrator and Human Resources Generalist.
"Collaborating with others to enhance business processes is how I work to improve lives," Amanda shares.
Denham Springs is home for Amanda, her husband Dedrick and son Hardy, 17. She also has two adult stepsons — Cody and Austin — and a 2-year-old grandson, Caisen. The family enjoys trips to their camp on the river, boating, fishing and hunting — especially for alligators.
Passionate about learning, as well as training and teaching others, Amanda earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. She credits her high school business teacher for recognizing her attention to detail and critical thinking skills and, in turn, encouraging her career path.
She volunteers as financial secretary for the Catholic Daughters of America Court #2701.
