BioMed Tech Kim Honored as Employee of the Month for November 2019

BioMed Tech Kim has received the North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for November 2019.

Kim joined the North Oaks team in 2014 in his current position of BioMed Tech. He is known for going above and beyond to serve and for anticipating needs. Recently, he volunteered to work on his off-weekend to fill in for a coworker to help ensure the working order of equipment needed to care for patients in the coming week.

"My commitment to improving lives is helping to ensure that the equipment we use for patient care functions properly," shares Kim. He earned an associate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Delgado Community College in New Orleans.

Kim lives in Amite with his wife Lisa with whom he shares three grown children – Kimbre, Kelby and Koby. They also have three grandchildren, 2-year-old Hayes, 18-month-old Bennett and 7-week-old Adley.

Away from work, Kim values time spent with his family.

“No matter the complexity, Kim can be counted upon to competently and thoroughly perform his job," asserts BioMed/Emergency Response Manager Ian Magruder. "He’s friendly, professional and never meets a stranger.”
