Staff Development Manager Caresa Honored as North Oaks Health System's Leader of the Month for September 2018

Staff Development Manager Caresa has received North Oaks Health System's Leader of the Month Award for September 2018.

"My team and I are dedicated to ensuring that staff have access to educational resources necessary to continue developing their patient care expertise," shares Caresa.

In 2008, Caresa joined the Education team as a Staff Development Specialist. She was promoted to Staff Development Manager in 2010.

Caresa graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

“I chose a career in Nursing because I was always driven to help others – whether they were ill, feeling down or just needing to talk through a situation,” she explains.

Caresa and her husband Brett live in Watson with their daughters – Kailyn, 13; and Hailey, 11.

Fishing with her family, crafting and baking are her favorite pastimes.

She is a member of the Association for Nursing Professional Development.
