Operating Room Assistant David Honored as North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month for March 2018

Operating Room Assistant David has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for March 2018.
David joined North Oaks in 1994 as a Home Health Aide and went on to gain experience in Senior Care and Rehabilitation Services. In 2001, he accepted his current position of Operating Room Assistant.
"My mother always taught me to have compassion for others," shares David.
He graduated from Amite High School and attended Grambling State University for nearly two years before entering the workforce.
He lives in Roseland.
Away from work, David enjoys a good book and just about anything that takes him outdoors. Most of all, he values time spent with his family. David has three adult children – Jyné, David Jr. and Ashlea – and eight grandchildren, whom he enjoys spoiling. They include: Michael, 11; Mariah, 8; Kaitlyn, 8; Aiden, 6; Khyleé and Jase, 5; Braelon, 3; and newborn Avarie.
“David has a gift for making our patients and their loved ones feel welcome and at ease,” affirms Perioperative Director Susie Edler.
