Patient Access Associate Sheila Recognized as North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month for November 2017

Patient Access Associate Sheila has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for November 2017.
Sheila joined the North Oaks team in 2005 in her current position of Patient Access Associate.
"My goal is for our patients to feel welcome, comfortable and confident in our care. I love making a positive difference in their lives," shares Sheila.
Originally from New Orleans, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School there.
Sheila and her husband Douglas live in Independence and have two children, 21-year-old Aaron and 9-year-old Jordin.
Sheila and her family attend Mt. Kingdom Baptist Church in Tickfaw, where she sings in the choir.
As hobbies, Sheila enjoys crafting, couponing and drawing.
"Sheila bleeds North Oaks blue and gold," affirms Patient Access Director Melissa Smith. "She treats every patient like family and stays one step ahead in anticipating their needs. She truly lives our mission of improving lives every time and with every touch."
