Dispensing Technician Kim Honored as Employee of the Month

Dispensing Technician Kim has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for March 2017.

"I love to help people," Kim shares.

Kim started working at North Oaks in 2002 in the Laundry. In 2006, she became a Radiology Support Assistant and then a Patient Transport Assistant in 2011. She transferred to Material Services in 2015 as an Inventory Control Clerk and accepted her current position in 2017.

A native of Elkhart, Indiana, she graduated from Mishawaka High School in her home state.

Kim lives in Tickfaw with her boyfriend Gary and has two adult children, Michael and Ashley, and a granddaughter, Harleigh.

Kim loves the outdoors, mowing lawns and helping people. She is a frequent HOT Team volunteer, whereby North Oaks staff give of their time off the clock at health system and community events.

“Kim takes great pride in making sure that our patient care teams get the supplies they need each day," affirms Material Services Director Jim Ahrend. "Our mission of improving lives means a great deal to her, and we are fortunate to have her on our team.”
