Flex-Ability Nurse Jessica Receives Nurse Excellence of the Month Award for June

Flex-Ability Nurse Jessica has received the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award for June 2017.
"I treat every patient like a VIP," Jessica shares.
Jessica worked at North Oaks from 2014 to 2016 as a Medicine Unit Staff Registered Nurse, Preceptor and Charge Nurse. In 2017, she returned as a Flex-Ability Registered Nurse, which gives her the opportunity to experience working in a variety of nursing areas throughout the hospital.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Sociology from Louisiana State University. She then earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing through Southeastern Louisiana University’s accelerated program, graduating with honors.
Jessica lives in Madisonville, where she enjoys downtime with her husband Ryan and their 10-year-old dachshund, Choco.
She is an avid reader and enjoys shopping and working out.
She speaks fluent French and loves to discover new places while traveling.
