Senior Financial Accountant Amy Named Employee of the Month

Senior Financial Accountant Amy has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for May 2016.

“At North Oaks, I have found a place I enjoy returning to every day. I get to make a difference each day, and I'm surrounded by people who support, challenge and respect me," Amy shares.

Amy joined the North Oaks team in October 2013 as a Clinic Financial Analyst and was promoted to her current position in July 2014.

Originally from Gretna, she graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Accounting.

Amy lives in Hammond with her husband Scott and daughters Lyla, 15 months old, and Amelia, 8.

She is co-treasurer of the Junior Auxiliary of Hammond and has belonged to the service organization for 4 years.

Amy shares that her coworkers may be surprised to learn that she began swimming competitively at age 7 and even coached a swim team after graduating from high school.

“Amy has been engaged and eager to learn all she can about health care and North Oaks Health System since her first day on the job. She takes initiative to start projects and improve processes. She is a team player and always willing to go the extra mile,”affirms Stefanie Herbert, Financial Accounting Manager.
