Hammond Pulmonologist Wesley M. Cook, MD, has joined North Oaks Physician Group in practice with North Oaks Pulmonology Clinic.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Cook has practiced in the Hammond area and belonged to the Medical Staff of North Oaks Medical Center for the past 7 years. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung and respiratory system diseases, such as asthma, emphysema, bronchitis and pneumonia, and can help patients stop smoking.

A graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Dr. Cook completed his internship and residency at the former Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. He also completed a fellowship in Pulmonology/Critical Care through Louisiana State University/Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
