TANGIPAHOA PARISH
Male Winner
Hunter Stanley,
St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School
Comments: He makes coaching fun. You never have to worry if he’s giving you everything he’s got or if he hasn’t done his school work. He represents our school perfectly in every manner. |
Female Winner
Kristen Favalora,
Hammond High Magnet School
Comments: Kristen was chosen by her team as the varsity co-captain this year, so this shows that her teammates think she is a great leader. She has played all 4 years of high school and has never missed a practice and/or game. We participate in several community service projects as a team and she always arrives early and stays late to help without being asked. Kristen is hardworking, dedicated, and determined in everything she is involved in. Athletes like her only come around so often and I am going to miss her very much next year. |
LIVINGSTON PARISH
Male Winner
William Rogers,
Springfield High School
Comments: Will is able to play sports and make great grades in the classroom. He helps tutor his teammates in Math and other subjects. He is active in his church group. |
Female Winner
Jessica Gregoire,
Springfield High School
Comments: Jessica is a highly involved student-athlete. She has great school spirit and participates in many extracurricular activities. She has been Captain of the softball team since her sophomore season and has demonstrated excellent leadership skills throughout her time at Springfield High School on and off the field. She has been a model student helping others through tutoring opportunities when asked. |
