North Oaks Physician Group Coding Supervisor Cindy Named Employee of the Month

North Oaks Physician Group Coding Supervisor Cindy has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for July 2015.

Cindy joined theNorth Oaks team in February 2011 as Clinic Coder. She accepted her current position in November 2014.

She is a graduate of Oak Forest Academy in Amite. She also is certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders.

“Cindy has truly been an asset to North Oaks Physician Group. Her efforts to educate new and existing providers on appropriate coding practices are amazing," comments North Oaks Physician Group Senior Vice President/Network Executive Percival Kane Jr. “The providers really appreciate her approach to education and her communication style.”

An Amite native, Cindy lives in Independence with her husband Darryl. They have two daughters, Charnell, who is married to Matthew, and Danielle, who is married to Nick. They also are grandparents to 1-year-old Emily Rose.

In her free time, Cindy enjoys outdoor activities and time with her friends and family, especially her granddaughter. She is a member of St. Helena Catholic Church in Amite.
