Information Technology EMR Analyst Colby, RN, Receives Nurse Excellence Award

Information Technology EMR Analyst Colby, RN, has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award.

Colby earned his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. He joined the North Oaks team in January 2006 as Nurse Tech on the Telemetry Unit and accepted his current position in 2011.

“Colby has flourished in his current role. He faces challenges with enthusiasm and excels at problem-solving,” notes Regina Scott, Assistant Vice President/Orders, Ancillary and Ambulatory Informatics. “He is proficient in finding resources that benefit North Oaks while meeting regulatory requirements.”

A Zachary native, Colby and his wife Whitney reside in Ponchatoula. They are the parents of 8-month-old Charlie Rose. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on his Jeep, fishing and shooting at the firing range.

Colby is a member of Geaux AWOL (Associated Wrangler Owners of Louisiana) and of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond.
